Roger Lotte Double Bass Bow
Roger François Lott (b-1922, d-1989) was the son and pupil of François Lotte. This silver-mounted octagonal bow is a particularly fine example. The head is beautifully shaped and the facets of the octagon are sharp and precise. In terms of model, the bow has stats that are on the long and heavy side of making. As such, it will be of great interest to the symphony or opera orchestra player.
