Jay Haide Double Bass, Berkley, California
This fine-looking instrument with its steeply raked upper shoulders is modelled on the instruments of the French bass maker Charles Quenoil. The amazing looking worn-patina type varnish and wear marks that one would normally see on an old instrument signify that this particular model is their ‘Model L’Ancienne’ or antique model.
The instrument has been designed with the advanced student - semi-professional in mind but quite honestly if you're on a budget then this instrument represents unbeatable value for money.
