This very “tidy” instrument will be of great interest to the player of smaller stature, for its compact body, nicely raked upper shoulders and very advantageous 106.0cm string length make it particularly manageable to play. Another major plus point that we think that you’ll like, is the fine structural condition of the instrument. No doubt this is due in part to the carved-back and external rib-lining construction that have provided it with, and will continue to provide it with, a good amount of robustness. In terms of restoration and upgrades, the instrument has undergone a full programme of work which in brief included the fitment of a new bass bar on the inside table and externally the fitment of a stunning new neck and fingerboard. It goes without saying that there is a fantastic set-up too.

In terms of sound, this very decent quality instrument tends to take most players by surprise, for in the right hands it produces a huge amount of rich, projecting volume.

Really, with this instrument there is so much to like!
