Thomas Kennedy Double Bass, London anno 1839

A very pure and classic example of this master craftsman’s work. The instrument is signed in pencil on the inside table and prior to some necessary internal work was signed on the inside back. Here offered in fully restored condition, it sports a new neck that feels truly fantastic while internally there are new back braces, a new bass bar and all cracks have been washed out and securely studded.

The instrument possesses a truly exceptional deep dark sound that is sure to bring out the biggest of grins to any player.
