If it wasn’t for the fact that this instrument bears a faint maker’s signature in pencil on the inside back, the classic Brescian model and features coupled with a varnish of great beauty, one would conclude that this is the work of Bernard Simon Fendt. Note the quality of the J. F. Lott 1 machines with their exquisitely engraved brackets. Wonderful indeed!
