Solo Double Bass by Gunter Krahmer-Pollmann circa 1974
Should your young son or daughter be showing good promise on the double bass and you feel that you want to help them along their journey, this small-half-size instrument could be something to consider. The well-crafted instrument was commissioned by Thomas Martin from the world-renowned firm of German bass maker for his son George to learn on. It was then sold on to Ron Prentice, a well-recognised bass maker, for his daughter to study on.
For such a small bodied instrument it packs a very impressive sound which is of a clear-carrying quality.
The instrument comes complete with a quarter size bow that was made by Ron Prentice and a shower-proof rucksack style cover in black.
