Ezzio began studying music at 5 years, he graduated in double bass at the Conservatory of Venice, and at the Hochschule für Musik in Vienna where he perfected his playing with Ludwig Streicher, Edgar Österreicher for direction, and Vivier Scindloecker for composition.

Considered one of the few virtuosos of bass, as soloist and director, he has performed in Europe, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Japan, Peru, Australia, South Africa, USA, Israel, with renowned orchestras (such as Deutsche Kammer Virtuosen, Wiener Streicher , Orchestra of the Teatro Regio, Chamber Orchestra of Mantova, Orchestra Regionale del Lazio, Thscech National Symphony, Lucerne Festival Strings), in Festival (as Melbourne Art Festival, Philharmonic Mexicana, Season of the Teatro Regio in Turin, time orchestra, Radio Copenhagen, Maggio Musicale in Florence, Unione Musicale in Turin) and auditorium (as Royal Festival Hall London, Teatro Regio Torino, Palacio de las Bellas Artes Mexico City, Teatro Colon Buenos Aires, Parco della Musica Rome, Victorian Hall Melbourne).

In May 2005 a terrible accident to his left hand stopped his career as a bass player, leaving him to devote himself primarily to composition and direction.

Ezio Bosso plays his own composition, Introduction á la Patagonie.
The instrument is Ezio’s own, the bow is our Albert Nurnberger.
