This rare early-English instrument knows absolutely all the opera repertoire for it was used by the now retired Richard D. Hart in his job at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden for precisely 33 years! Although the shoulders are a tad on the high side, the slim ribs and 104.1cm string length make this a very easy instrument to play and of particular merit is the sound - which you will find is absolutely massive.

Another bonus is that a full rebuild by one of our up and coming restorers has put the instrument into tip-top condition.
